Valentine's Doctor Visit

Today we went BACK to the doctor. The verdict? Logan's tubes have fallen out and are resting in his ear canals. He has an awful ear infection after just finishing antibiotics a few days ago. Dr. Hill even said he had "angry ears!" That can't be good. And angry ears make for an angry Logan. He's been a trooper through all of this. Bless his heart, we just want him to feel better. Keep the prayers coming this way for our little man! These are some pics of my two valentines being silly in the waiting room today. We always find a way to have a good time...

Our playdate

We had so much with cousin Jackson last weekend when he came to play! Memaw and Papaw came over to check out our washer while Daddy was gone to Solo and Ensemble tryouts. We had a great time laughing and playing. We even got to play in the bubbles for a little while before Jackson had to go home. Can't wait to do it again!

After Jackson went home, we converted Logan's bed to a toddler bed---for the night. Okay, okay. Not even one night. I couldn't take waiting for the first "thud" of the night. We had even recruited ALL the pillows in the house to catch our little angel when he fell out of the bed. Bryan went in and put the rail back on before eleven. We'll try again soon. I suppose. This mommy stuff is hard on the heart. *wink* I think Logan loved it though! His favorite part is climbing up and down. Maybe he (and Mommy) will be ready soon!

Snow-the 2011 edition!

We wanted to share a few photos from the big snow last night. Logan didn't really care for the snow that much and wanted to go back inside. I guess Special Agent Oso is a little more interesting than freezing outside. Hope everyone is safe and warm! Enjoy the snow day!

Christmas 2010

It has been one long crazy roller coaster ride since November. I wish I would have had more time to post, but it has literally been one thing after another. We bought our house in early November and spent the next two weeks trying to unpack and get things ready for Christmas. Bryan's holiday concerts were wonderful and Logan really enjoyed seeing Daddy and the band. We traveled to Bryan's mom and dad's for the (before) Christmas lunch with the Fox side of the family. It was really nice to see everyone. Later that evening, we headed to Hartselle for the Jackson Family Christmas party. It was nice making new memories with my family around the piano singing carols. It reminded me of old times as a kid. I don't think anyone will ever know what those times meant to me. I always felt I was the luckiest kid alive to have such a wonderful extended family. Ah, memories. Logan had a wonderful Christmas, too! He really enjoyed all his gifts and seeing friends and family, especially cousin Jackson. All the boys loved playing in the new Cozy Coupe. That thing has been well worth the money! He loves hopping in there and slamming the door shut. He was sick for about five days during the break with Flu-like symptoms. He woke up Christmas Eve night with a 102 degree fever. This kept on for around five days. I've never seen my little man so sick. Bryan had to leave to travel to Orlando with the band, so Logan was really missing his best buddy while he was sick. Eventually he got to feeling better, and Daddy came home from Disney. He brought Logan a new Mickey Mouse, which really sped up recovery time! Ha! We are all doing well now and just enjoying our time together. Happy new year to everyone!
